Hello from the North Coast!

I think that term was first phrased by musicians when they compared the party atmosphere at Put In Bay to that of Key West. Some of the performers work in Florida the during the winter and migrate back to the North Coast during the summer season. Put In Bay is located on South Bass Island in Lake Erie about 40 miles east of Toledo and is visited by thousands of party goers each weekend during the summer season. The term ”North Coast” isn’t just another reference to the great lakes it’s more of a reference to the nautical sailing atmosphere and the hard partying done by sailors and landlubbers on the Great Lakes. I’ve grown up on the North Coast, had my share of and still get some party time at the bay when I can. I started windsurfing the North Coast in the summer of 1985 and have never stopped. As I enter into 2nd life this Spring (life after the day job) I hope to get out on the North Coast often.
