New - 2004 BIC Techno
283 - $999
- now $669

The
legendary Techno 283 comes with a Bic Select 46cm (18")
fin that handles a wide sail range. This is a wide style
lightweight board and it gets up on a plane without you
working at it. This board first produced in 1999 sparked
windsurfing into the Formula era. Over 30,000 283's have
since been built by Bic Sports. The 283 is great as a
transition board for a novice wanting to get off that
big starter board or great for an expert looking for a
light wind machine. For the young at heart who are light
weights this is a great starter board for you!
LENGTH 283 cm / 9'-3" - VOLUME

WIDTH 69 cm / 27" - WEIGHT 9.0kg / 19.8 lbs

The 2007 293D offers cosmetic
changes with orange graphics and a tan colored top side.
The bottom
business side of the 293. The
Techno 293D Classic in our opinion is the best all around
board for those new to windsurfing. It's wide and stable
but not so big that it won't easily take you to the next
level and beyond. It's centerboard
works very well in low winds. For
it's size it's very lightweight meaning women and teens
have no problem lifting this board up onto a roof rack.
But don't let it's size fool you when powered up it gets
up and planes quickly and then the fun really begins!

The HiFly Motion's 35.5"
width, wide style shape and 219 liters of volume make
it one of the most stable boards available. It has a good
sized working center board and comes with a large 39cm
powerbox fin which means upwind work is easily done. This
is a polyprolene(plastic) skin board which makes it near
indestructable. When it comes to
pure family recreational board fun the Motion can not
be beat.

New - 2006 HiFly Motion
- $769 -
now $669
LENGTH 290 cm / 9 '6",
VOLUME 219 liters
WIDTH 90 cm / 35.5", WEIGHT 18.9 kg / 49lbs
powerbox fin box
(includes 39cm fin, centerboard, 4 Dakine foot straps)
Note we have Motion's on our lesson trailer that can
be demo ridden.
The Hifly Magnum is a great
choice for those just starting their windsurfing careers.
The polyprolene(plastic) skin makes this board one tough
cookie. It can take abuse that would blow other boards
apart making this is a great board for a family with kids,
that cabin at the lake or back yard pond. The
Magnum is considered a wide style with a 28.4" width giving
you great stability for uphauling. It's 10'-7" length
gives you great front end floatation for tacking plus
it has a large centerboard for upwind sailing.

New - HiFly Magnum - $769
- now $569
LENGTH 323 cm / 10'-7", VOLUME 187 liters
WIDTH 73 cm / 28.4" , WEIGHT 16.2 kg / 35 lbs

(includes fin, centerboard, sunshine base & adapter, 4
foot straps),

Here is an good estimate of the cost of a complete outfit
consisting of a $50 used sail and with the rest of the components
being all new quality parts. Quite often those low cost
rig package deals advertised else where consist of a very
inexpense sail, base, extension, mast and boom.

Other Boards
- seeking an owner!
$899 - Used - 2006 Techno II 118 - like new - has
been used just a couple hours out on a couple private demonstration/trials.
This is one hot lightweight short board.

$460 - Used - 1998 Fanatic Bee 294 - 294 cm long,
135 liter, comes with 2 high quality G10 fins, single bolt
mast foot with Chinook cup. This board has had limited hours
on the water. The top side looks new yet and bottom side
just a few small scratches from normal use. This board has
a slightly wider style tail to it than a tradition shape
and a slight V hull underneath. A comparable 2007 board
retails at $1200. This is a great riding board with a lightweight
feel under your feet. You can demo this board if we can
manage to meet up with you at the park. Best used with 5.5
to 8.0 sails.

$155 - Used - 1996 - HiFly 275 PX - 101 liters
- includes straps and a powerbox fin, used during six Spring
Hatteras trips and on an occasional big wind day in Toledo.
The top side deck is very nice with just a few small impressions,
straps are in very good condition. On the bottom side there
are a dozen or so spots filled in nicely with plastic filler
(yellow spots in bottom side image). These impressions were
there due to manufacturing issues and we filled those in
many years ago and the filler has held fine. This is a tough
little board because of the plastic skin the weight is around
21 lbs. If you have been wanting to try a little bump and
jump fun this board can do it.

$325 - New - 1996 Hifly RX265 - 93 liters
- 8'-9" with fin and straps, powerbox fin box type.
This Hifly poly line board is tough and bomb proof. A great
board for anyone ready to go fast and get into high wind
sailing. This would make someone a great high wind Hatteras
board.
